Child of the King Records is distinct in that our developmental and promotional nitch reaches to both inside and outside the gospel and Christian music realm. We believe that there is an unexplored notion of arts and music of the Kingdom that has yet to be brought into and distributed throughout the earth and heavens. Child of the King Records is deliberate in our mission to push the boundaries of what is currently categorized as "Christian" music to the expanded concept of "Kingdom" music. We promote governmental dominion music to over turn the kingdom of darkness and establish the Kingdom of Light. For example, a particular song may not mention the name of Christ Jesus but might be about the justice of our Lord; or some song may have the inclusion of a phrase from a well known "secular" song or reference a secular artist just to make a point expanding allowing for an artist’s liberty of expression. The message will still be that of our Lord Jesus Christ glorified and His Kingdom come. So with this in mind and heart, we produce governmental music and art which testifies of our King’s dominion, authority, rule, reign and power.

We have been given spiritual weapons and tools to drive the devil off the planet. These artistic weapons are created to uproot, tear down, destroy and overthrow the kingdom of darkness and to build and plant to help establish and expand the Kingdom of Light. These weapons and tools are the "flag ship" of Child of the King Records and are created to produce an atmosphere for total abandonment of oneself in God’s presence and confidence of total victory through Christ Jesus. Just as the Tribe of Judah was first in leading the warriors into battle with praise, so is the goal and core significance of our productions. Some of the music will take you right into the heat of the battle where there is wresting with rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and other songs will lead you into His Holy Presence. The music is extremely passionate and examples that of King David who God noted as a man after His own heart. It also highlights God’s love for us and our love for Him. This music has the capability of both leading you into the place of honoring God, the ultimate ruler, and ruling and reigning in our present environment.

Child of the King Records affirms the axiom that Marvin Gaye was once quoted as saying: "The purpose of art is to glorify God." So we work to make advancements in giving exposure to various styles of art, music and genre which exalt God and His authority. While the prophetic motif is key, it is not the sole determining factor as to who or what music we will produce and promote; so other components of the equipping gifts, such as the apostolic, are also powerfully expressed.

It is, therefore, with fearless hearts that we reach to develop and promote artists and music that venture outside the traditional gospel and Christian music sphere. Child of the King Records has both initiated and begun filling this nitch that we believe exists.
